WebSensipar is a calcimimetic drug used to treat hyperparathyroidism in patients with chronic kidney disease who are on dialysis. Sensipar works by reducing high levels of parathyroid hormone (PTH), calcium, and phosphorus in the body. Sensipar is also used to lower calcium levels in patients with overactive or cancer in the parathyroid glands.
