Web7 dic 2024 · You can run 33s on a stock jeep. 35s with flat fenders, and 37s with Metalcloak overline fenders all with no lift. If you are really worried about mpg I would not go over 35s and regear to maybe 410 gears. IMO 35s look best on a 2in lift with Flat fenders. Anybody else have any thoughts? Web7 lug 2009 · Having 4.56s with 33's and 4.88's with 35s is your best option, unless mpg is an issue. Going to the 35s and 4.56s I picked up 2-3 mpg on the highway as opposed to the 33 with 4.56s. I would still recommend the 4.88s and if MPG is an issue slow down 5-10 mph on the freeway. I will probably go back to 33’s. Web6 feb 2024 · You can do it but it's definitely not ideal. The ratios with a 5.13 first on a 3.73 rear end and 35's (your proposed setup) is very slightly taller than what a stock 6MT Tacoma is in first gear so it's not like you're going to be causing massive wear getting started.

It has to be done over a hundred or more miles since it's not very far off. I wouldn't bother worrying about your mileage until you run an entire tank through. Go fill your Jeep up until the pump shuts off.
