Indeed I was creating those Transports inside goroutines in BigApp(tm) but not in my PoC, lol. So there's that. I just confirmed that if I don't explicitly .CloseIdleConnections() inside the goroutine, it will exist forever and routines accumulate along with their idle connections. So those were a symptom of leaking goroutines.
