WebMar 28, 2008 · Yeah I found out later that it was possible to get Magnum brand octobans for much less than I spent on my custom ones. Kind of defeats the purpose of building your own. Biggest cost went to paint and to the stand (more than 50% of the grand total). The stand is a Pearl T800W. Which is a great stand by the way, extremely sturdy. WebOct 28, 2014 · The deccabons (as the name suggests) come in 10 sizes, and Pearl quarter toms come in (you guessed it) 4 sizes. Piccolo toms are regular diameter toms (8",10",12") but only 2" or so deep. I have a pair of the smallest Tama Octobans, and they sound great!
